November 2025 Gommer Music Weekend

Immerse yourself in the world of Swiss folk music and bring it to life! In this course we will explore traditional pieces, improvise, weave together our own compositions and create something unique together: the soundtrack to a short silent film! Directed by Andreas Gabriel and Pirmin Huber.

VSV (Verband Schweizer Volksmusik) Unterwalden

In 2026, the VSV (Verband Schweizer Volksmusik) Unterwalden will again offer a double bass course for beginners, advanced players and those returning to the instrument. 

The course starts on January 12, 2026 and takes place 7 times, each Monday evening at the oekumenisch churchroom in Stansstad. Pirmin Huber would like to respond to preferred, musical wishes of the course participants and practice the related pieces of music together. Afterwards, on April 1th 2026, a Stubete will take place at the Landgasthof Schlüssel in Alpnach to directly implement what has been learned.

Registration can be done directly through VSV (Verband Schweizer Volksmusik) Unterwalden.
